How To Play

TrialGB, TrialGP and X-Trial each have different formats so the Fantasy League rules are slightly different for each.

How to Play Trial GB Fantasy League

  1. Choose the top 5 riders in order in TrialGB, and the top 3 in Trial2 and TrialGB Women.
  2. Scoring for the top 5 or top 3 is as per the championship for exact choice in finishing position. 1st = 20pts, 2nd = 17pts, 3rd = 15pts, 4th = 13pts, 5th = 11pts. Maximum top 3 score = 76pts.
  3. Additional top 5 scoring in TrialGB - 10pts awarded if a top 5 choice finishes in the top 3 but in the wrong finishing position. Also 5 points if a top 5 choice finishes 4th or 5th but in the wrong finishing position. E.g. you choose 1,2,3,4,5 and they finish 3,1,5,2,4 (all top 5 but none in the correct position) you will score 10pts for each rider in the top 3 and 5pts for each rider in 4th or 5th = 40pts. Another example: player chooses 1,2,3,4,5 and the riders come in 1,3,2,5,4. Positions score is 20,10,10,5,5 = 50pts total.
  4. Additional top 3 scoring in Trial2 and TrialGB Women - 10pts awarded if a top 3 choice finishes in the top 3 but in the wrong finishing position. Also 5 points if a 4th or 5th choice finishes 4th or 5th but in the wrong finishing position. E.g. you choose 1,2,3 and they finish 3,1,2 (all top 3 but none in the correct position) you will score 10pts for each rider = 30pts. Another example: player chooses 1,2,3 and the riders come in 1,3,2. Positions score is 20,10,10 = 40pts total.
  5. Maximum round score is Top 5 (76pts) in TrialGB and Top 3 (52pts) in each of the other two classes = 180pts.
  6. Results and leagues will be updated within 72 hours after the round results are posted. If official results are changed for whatever reason the league results will be updated to reflect the official results.

How to Play Trial GP Fantasy League

  1. Choose the top 5 riders in order in TrialGP, and the top 3 in Trial2 and Trial GP Women.
  2. When Trial GP Women do not compete predictions for Trial3 will be used instead.
  3. Scoring for the top 5 or top 3 is as per the championship for exact choice in finishing position. 1st = 20pts, 2nd = 17pts, 3rd = 15pts, 4th = 13pts, 5th = 11pts. Maximum top 3 score = 76pts.
  4. Additional top 3 scoring - 10pts awarded if a top 3 choice finishes in the top 3 but in the wrong finishing position. Also 5 points if a 4th or 5th choice finishes 4th or 5th but in the wrong finishing position.
  5. Maximum round score is Top 5 (76pts) in TrialGP and Top 3 (52pts) in each of the other two classes = 180pts.
  6. Results and leagues will be updated within 72 hours after the round results are posted. If official results are changed for whatever reason the league results will be updated to reflect the official results.

How to Play X-Trial Fantasy League

  1. Choose the top 3 riders in order and choose the rider finishing in the wildcard position.
  2. Scoring for the top 3 is as per the championship for exact choice in finishing position. 1st = 20pts, 2nd = 15pts, 3rd = 12pts. Maximum top 3 score = 47pts.
  3. Additional top 3 scoring - 10pts awarded if a top 3 choice finishes in the top 3 but in the wrong finishing position. E.g. you choose 1,2,3 and they finish 3,1,2 (all top 3 but none in the correct position) you will score 10pts for each rider = 30pts. Another example: player chooses 1,2,3 and the riders come in 1,3,2 positions score is 20,10,10 = 40pts total.
  4. Wildcard scoring. The wildcard is a random position from 4th-7th (specified before the round). If your choice matches that position you score 20pts.
  5. Maximum round score is Top 3 (47pts) plus wildcard (20pts) = 67pts.
  6. Results and leagues will be updated within 72 hours (as some rounds are on Friday evenings) after the round results are posted. If official results are changed for whatever reason the league results will be updated to reflect the official results.

Choices (all leagues)

  1. Entries for each round open 3 weeks before the date of the event and close at noon (UK time) on the day of the event.
  2. If you don't submit your choices for a round, your top 3 choices from the previous round are carried forward, but not 4th and 5th in TrialGB and TrialGP nor the X-Trial wildcard. In this way there is a penalty for forgetting or not entering, but not a total loss of points.
  3. Changes must be made before 12 noon on the day of the event.

Registration (all leagues)

To take part in the Fantasy League, go to the Registration page and fill in the following information.

  1. First name
  2. Surname
  3. Email
  4. Nickname (as you will appear on the leaderboard)

    5. Your name will appear on the leaderboard once you have submitted at least one prediction for the league.

Prizes

  1. It's too early to confirm this but we hope to get donated prizes for the overall top 3.
